Most days are great!

Unfortunately life has those bumpy days and today is one of them!  

Don't you hate it when you make a mistake and it all backfires in your face??

That happened to me and now the one i love doesn't want to talk to me! Ai life can be tough and you just wish you could wave a wand and make everything OK! Well life goes on!

Hello my fellow bloggers

OK so I havent written in ages but life gets really ahead of me sometimes! But now I get to chat.

I have been as busy as a bee this past month producing and working hard :-) i look at most my friends statuses and they hate their jobs, they work like dogs and just makes life sh***y, I on the other hand love waking up every morning and travelling from Pretoria to Johannesburg (yes believe it or not the travel I do not mind because the job is all worth it) and sitting behind my laptop and make MAGIC happen!!

The best part?? Knowing your work is on that website, knowing you are making a difference and knowing your boss Kenneth Nel is the coolest and best boss to work for!! OK so let me tell you about our team:

1. Kenneth Nel: The co-founder of Ipcoweb, best boss ever! He not only runs a tight and professional ship but he makes us laugh, smile and have fun as well!

2. Brett:  The co-founder of Ipcoweb!!! He handles everything and anything we have to deal with from dealing with issues to being the back bone, strength and firm hand of Ipcoweb, all while making us laugh with his fascinating stories!

3. David: The man with the plan, similar to Brett in his job title ( doing everything) David is the guy who has taught a lot of us which way is right and which way is left :-)

4. Erin: My bestie in the office and the sister I never had!! She handles all clients, all operations, issues and once again she does everything!!! Oh our times together at Food Lovers hehehe

5. Joleen: The women who is older but is as fun and funky as a 25 year old, she is gorgeous and I love making her laugh, she is our workshop organizer and does a little of everything else!!!

6. Vaughn: The new sales dude who gets insane amounts of clients

Then comes our Design team:

1. Cliff: The pain in my butt, hehehe he loves annoying us with giving us frights, messing with our chairs and everything else!!! HEHE
2. Andrew: The rather quiet one in the office, a man of few words but a great dude!!!!
3. Lavern: The quick page designer and everything else!!! She is sweet and always laughs at my jokes hehehe!!!
4. Grant: The really cool and sweet dude who cares for everyone :-) And he LOVES Despicable me!!

5. The APPY'S: We get apprentices who need to fill their work hours to complete their degree, we got Matt who is really sweet and has awesome anime, Jo who is girly but not at all; she has amazing design skills and knows a great thing or two and last is our new appY dont know too much about him yet but he is fitting in great!!

Alright now comes the writers and they are:

1. ME: Head copywriter and SEO person hehehe

2. Bianca: Ok so i wont lie and ill say she is currently our best writer, when we need more work done she always takes on the extra and she has NEVER let us down!!

3. Andrew: He writes like a machine and I have never seen speed like this dude

4. Diane: Our more meticulous and detailed writer, this is great because our quality is always top notch!

5. Ilona: What's great about Ilona is all the organisation ideas were started by her which aids us in ways unfathomable!

6. Candice: The new blogger and admin controller :-)

And that's it for the Johburg office!!! We are one big happy family and I love every moment of it!!!

Life in general

Ok so my second blog is just getting started

If you had told me a year ago I would be able to blog and know the ins and outs of SEO I would have laughed in your face. I now know how to runs checks for SEO and as you can see im blogging!! Blogging is a relatively easy thing to do, its just like writing articles except better because its about me!!!

Being one of the best writers of all time Sylvia Plath truly epitomized a person of strength and no care towards what people thought of her, all that mattered was about what she wanted to do and being able to write about it! I am that type of person, I don't care what others think of me. All that matters is my life and how I choose to live it because you might know my name but not my story and you might of heard what I have done but not what I have been through! The moral of the story live life and be happy in everything you do!!

Working for Ipcoweb has truly made me realise that its not always about what you do, its about whether it makes you happy or not! HAPPINESS is the true goal in life because without it nothing else matters...

What I do

Hellllo

OK so my name is Leanne Kimmings and I am a copywriter for Ipcoweb. I will be very honest and say before June this year I thought my dream life would be in fashion, yehhhh that didn't happen. I did try get into fashion but due to the lack of experience no one wanted me :-(. Anyway moving on I thought of looking for work until my big break in fashion happened and a lady named Amanda Scribante needed copywriters to write articles so i thought why not go for it for now!

Little did I know I would enjoy it and want to keep doing it, before June I didn't even know what SEO (Search engine optimization)  was and in less than 2 months I have learned all about it and what I can do now is more than most can say. I am now full time and even though its non stop busy im loving every moment of it. I think the funniest part of this job is when you get companies where I have noooo idea what to write about because I have honestly never heard a thing about it (i.e. water reticulation), but now i know all about it, so I can now be your water reticulation expert hehehe.

What else makes me laugh is when you have a company name that has nothing to do with what they are selling and then I ask a friend what do you think they do and its always totally wrong, it's a great laugh. All in all the life as a copywriter is not always glamorous but knowing you are the one who wrote that is the best feeling in the world. Ipcoweb truly lets all those creative juices that are just stuck and sitting in your brain come to life.
